This is a very pleasant surprise,

Over time I have set aside many machines to give it a central place

The sound quality depends greatly on the manufacturing and assembly of these modules "do it yourself". The intervention of a true professional is often desirable because the DIY has its limits.
A real musical instrument, not a mere curiosity museum synths.
His only fault is to be rare in good condition.
