The Pulse is a MODEL rack, with 3 oscillators, monophonic, but it is enough to spell it.
Excellence for large minimalist sounds good you will find the pure sound of minimal techno artists such as Marco Carola, Umek, Robert Hood, The Advent, Brother's Yard, Terence Fixmer (possde they all like this, is look no further!) ... the synth preferred master steve stoll it is really huge and the synth as derisory price for what comes out! is the analog synth of choice for the worshipers of techno-electro
also used in electro by the greatest: Console, aphex twin, ...
It has enormous potential modulation thanks its modulation matrix: it has four buses each modulation which can connect a modulation source (LFO, envelope, oscilloscope etc ...) a destination (filter, r resonance, oscilloscope, pan, volume, etc ...). LFO very simple to use.
The possibilities of sounds become standards because the synth adj stationary sources of modulation!
It has 2 envelopes, 2 LFO (+ delay on 2) and a bunch of other sources for sculptured sound. the arpeggiator is just monstrous!
UTILIZATION
The edition is more than simple, and competitive advantage that is the combination of analog circuitry, the memory used (40 of 99 editable presets monster). the old analog sound big, memorable!
Manual in English or German, but has not used much.
not need to effect behind, should be left as is ringing it look better. although a little lightweight indeed be cool as you like music ...
SOUNDS
The sound is totally analog (only in the brand) with a filter in his inimitable Waldorf. big bass sounds, leads, ..., it sounds alone and out the pulse of these sounds crazy!

OVERALL OPINION
Used for more than four years, it is my synth prfr and most used in my compositions.
the pulse is really big sound electro and techno by far the best current analog.
and its relationship qualitprix is incredible (it is not normal for such a good synth but hey, good for us!), even at Euro 1000 I will have bought!
