Not all the brands have prototypes to show at Musikmesse, see Arturia and its new MiniBrute SE special edition unveiled today.
The MiniBrute SE presents a brand new look with an brushed aluminum front plate and wooden sides. It sports the same format as the original analog synth.
But the real news is the addition of a 6 pattern, up to 64 step sequencer, or better said, the sequencer replaces the arpeggiator of the original version. You can use it to create multiple phrases from existing material by changing the playback mode, the gate length or the swing on the fly.
As for the rest, you’ll find on the MiniBrute SE the same oscillator and sub-oscillator, the multimode filter, the Metalizer, the Ultrasaw, the LFO as well as the USB, MIDI and CV connectivity.
The MiniBrute SE will be available in May for the price of 549€ / $599.
