MusikMesse Prolight+Sound Shanghai 2008

Prolight + Sound Shanghai will welcome over 350 exhibitors from around the world. During that show, Sennheiser will unveil brand new products, hosts concerts and technical seminars.


Prolight + Sound Shanghai is one of China’s leading forums for the pro-audio, lighting, and entertainment technology sectors. Exhibitors will come from around the globe: Brazil, China, Hong Kong, Korea, Taiwan, the USA and the UK. Major names from the industry have already confirmed their venue (Allen & Heath, C-Mark, Coef Lighting, Community, EAW, JB-Lighting, KV2 Audio, PAL, PAS, Pioneer, Selenium,Sennheiser, Shure, Soundking, Superlux and Triple Onda).

New products:
Amongst all, Sennheiser will present a new line of products at Prolight + Sound Shanghai 2008. These include K-Array, the MKH 8000 analog and digital condenser microphone line, the EM 3732 wireless receiver, the SR 350 In ear monitor transmitter, and Neumann’s new line up of digital microphones. Klein & Hummel will present a new series of installed sound speakers as well as Studio monitors on the Sennheiser stand.

Technical seminars:
In addition to showing a large number of new products on their stand, Sennheiser will also host two technical seminars during the exhibition:
9th – 11th of October, will be held a 90-minute digital microphone recording workshop featuring Gregor Zielinsky (Former Deutsch Gramophon recording engineer) and Wolfgang Fraissinet (President of Neumann)
Finally on the 12th of October will be organized a 'Special Live Sound’ workshop featuring Gregor Zielinsky and the FOH/monitor engineers from “The Scorpions”, Oliver Voges & Wayne Gittens.

Concerts:
Sennheiser’s outdoor tent will also house a series of concerts (two concerts per day are planned on the 9th, 10th and 11th of October) with Lucius Clark as an opening act.

Music China – International Exhibition for Music Instruments and Services – will run alongside Prolight + Sound Shanghai, creating a comprehensive music & sound event with over 1,500 exhibitors in total. The fairs are organised jointly by INTEX and Messe Frankfurt.
