Report on the 2015 Music China show

Here is our report from this fast-growing event based in Shanghai, China - a show that was actually way more international than we expected!

Nĭ hăo, worldwide musicians! I’ve just gotten back from Music China. Here’s a quick recap:

Let’s start with a summary video of the show just to show you the vibe

As you might have realized, the show could get quite noisy (no soundcheck like at NAMM), but aside from that, it was pretty cool traveling through history, walking by the traditional Chinese instruments in one hall to modern electric musical instruments in the next. Also, I learned a good lesson about the whole “Made in China” cliché: true, there were a lot of non-Chinese company here…, but they were exporting to China! Many local brands (unkown from outside China) were also present, including some that looked like surprisingly well-crafted, professional instruments!

You can see the show for yourself by viewing our pictures and commenting!

And if you happen to know the english names of these traditional instruments, let us know by commenting below!
