Griffin introduces at CES 2014 in Las Vegas the StudioConnect HD, a new version of its audio interface for iPhone/iPad and Mac.

The StudioConnect HD is a mobile recording station dedicated to iOS and OS X devices. The audio interface features two XLR/Jack 1/4” combo inputs for recording microphones, keyboards or guitars at 24-bit / 96kHz with independent gain controls. A phantom power is also available as well as two VU-meters for gain level monitoring, with clipping indicator.

The StudioConnect HD also offers MIDI In and Out on 5-pin DIN connectors and USB MIDI.

The monitoring section includes a headphone output with its level control and a 1/4” balanced monitor output.

The StudioConnect HD uses a power supply and can even recharge your iDevice. It ships with Lightning and 30-pin iOS connectors and is compatible with CoreAudio apps.

The Griffing StudioConnect HD has a price of 199.99€ and is expected soon this year. More info at  store.griffintechnology.com/studioconnect-hd.
