Ion Audio introduces GuitarLink Air, a system for connecting a guitar, wirelessly, to a computer, iPad or iPhone.
GuitarLink Air is designed to allow musicians to play their guitar through an amplifier, computer or iOS device without being constrained by cables.
The design of GuitarLink Air includes free Guitar Rig LE software, which is designed to shape guitar sound with emulations of classic amplifiers and effects pedals. Users can record performances in Guitar Rig and export them to their recording software.
The guitar’s output is transmitted using Ion’s wireless signal and is amplified by what the player chooses to connect: a guitar amp, Mac, PC, iPad or iPhone…
Pricing & Availability:
GuitarLink Air is estimated to be available from retailers in Q2–2012 with an expected MSRP of £39.99/€49.99.
