Soundness announces the release of the 4th version of SoundSoap, its audio restoration plug-in and software for Mac OS X and Windows.
What’s new in SoundSoap v4:
- Loudness maximizer
- Algorithmic de-clipper that automatically fixes distortion issues at high levels
- Track feature that automatically reduces the amount of noise in the loud parts
- 24-bit for WAV and AIFF audio on Mac
- Waveform display
- New formats supported: H.264, MPEG-4, WAVE, AIFF, AAC
- Export to MV4 and AVI on Windows as well as M4V and MOV on Mac
- Share restored projects to Facebook, Vimeo, AirDrop, e-mail or messaging
SoundSoap 4 is available as a standalone software on Mac OS X and Windows (the Mac AppStore is still offering v3) as well as VST, AU, RTAS and AAX native plug-in for Mac and Windows 32 and 64-bit. It has a price of 123.22€, an upgrade is available for 40.52€ but if your purchased SoundSoap 3 after September 1st, 2014, you’ll receive v4 for free.
