Unchirp allows for eliminating audio artifacts generated during low quality encoding or FFT processing. It can remove all kinds of undesired noises, repair transient issues and restore lost high frequencies.
The Unchirp plug-in features a treble boost circuit based on psycho-acoustics with Enhance and Excite modes, a cuve editor that allows for frequency-dependent processing, a Side-Only algorithm to work on joint-stereo encoded material, an HD algorithm for high quality processing (this algorithm may use a lot of CPU, offline processing is recommended), a feature that allows for syncing the processing to transients and an output limiter.
Unchirp is available in VST2, AU, AAX and RTAS formats for Mac OS X and Windows 32 and 64-bit. It has a price of 369€ / $399 and you can download a trial version at www.zynaptiq.com/unchirp/.
The release of Unchirp is also a great occasion for Zynaptiq to offer a complete audio repair suite, with its four plug-ins (Unfilter, Unveil, Pitchmap and Unchirp). The new ZAP bundle is available at www.zynaptiq.com/zap/ for 999€ / $1099.
