Palmer announced the Duetto-Box is a small format mixer.
The inputs are said to be specifically configured for electric guitars in terms of level and impedance. The box also works well with normal line signals, the company says.
The Duetto is designed to allow you to actively mix two sources together to one output, which can in turn be connected to an amplifier. Each input has a volume pot so that the levels can be adjusted. The Duetto can be used as a cable driver, a monomerger or as a recording preamp.
The Duetto’s very low power consumption allows the unit to be powered by battery over many hours, according to Palmer. However the box also offers a DC power socket where you can connect a standard 9V power adaptor.
Specifications:
- Inputs: 2 x unbalanced 6,3 mm jack
- Input impedance: 1 M Ohm
- Max. Input Level: 1,55 V (+6 dBu)
- Output: 1 x unbalanced 6,3 mm jack
- Output impedance: 10 k Ohm
- Amplification: max. x 2 (6 dB)
- Power Supply: 9 V
