Robert Keeley is now accepting pre-orders for its new Bassist bass compression pedal.
Bassist is a compressor/limiter pedal for bass that uses a THAT 4320 Analog Engine chip with VCAs, True-RMS detector and op-amps. Keeley compares the Bassist to a dbx compressor but in stompbox format, with a musical and transparent effect.
The pedal features threshold, ratio and gain (+30dB boost) knobs, attack and release automatically adjust to the input or playing level. The pedal is 9.6V-powered.
Bassist will start shipping on November 4th, but you can pre-order it now and get a 10% discount ($199 instead of $259). More info at robertkeeley.com.
