This is a compressor pedal and 2-band EQ

UTILIZATION

The configuration is fairly simple 4-button switch

find a sound depends on what one seeks the eq and very accessible and very well balanced natural
but the compressor and a different kettle of fish

SOUND QUALITY

The eq as I said previously and very effective but relatively mild which allows not to abuse this eq. the level gives a boost that can recover useful.

OVERALL OPINION

I am quite disappointed they lent me this pedal until my order MULTICOMP EBS

UTILIZATION

Very easy to use although I recommend you to avoid extreme settings otherwise the sound will be awful.

EDIT after 3 years: As soon as you process your sound with this pedal you get either noise or ultra-sharp high frequencies or a muddy low-end!!!

SOUND QUALITY

It's nice as a compressor but be careful with the Comp button because it can generate unpleasant noise and hiss.
The EQ can also be criticized: if you boost the high end the sound becomes piercing and if you boost the low end it becomes dull.

As a conclusion: Don't overuse good things! Don't make extreme settings to avoid altering your sound excessively.

NB after 3 years: Fortunately I couldn't compare it at the time.

OVERALL OPINION

It's my first compressor. It's rather nice and easy to use. The sound doesn't really convince me, and I don't think this pedal will be a great match with every bass guitar. So try it before making any decisions and buy it if you like sweet but present compression like me.

Edit after 3 years: This pedal is bullshit. The compression effect isn't effective and if you really want to limit the dynamics... you'll generate noise. It's the same thing with the EQ: High settings will give an irritating sound! After all I'm not surprised that this product is discontinued.

Avoid it (especially if you know anything better).
