«  The beast from the depths »

Published on 11/16/12 at 13:00
Well, there is a built-in effects pedal with 2 switchable:
Overdrive: an active-passive switch, a switch for 2 different types od, and three knobs-volume-gain tone.
Fuzz: 3-fuzz knobs-volume texture and 3-band EQ ... not bad for a fuzz eh?
I did make this pedal according to my wishes. I was looking for a pedal switcher overdrive to fuzz and effects "exploitable". I chatted a moment with Jerome boss, and I sent him a CD of my group. He therefore made the beast with a dip in the midrange on the OD and 3-band EQ on the fuzz.
For the artwork, I sent him 2-3 ideas he was inspired to do a final render me beyond my expectations.
Ben here, I got exactly what I wanted and more.

UTILIZATION

I received this beautiful machine with a sheet A5 with the functions of knobs. After that, well it's the bassist curious fiddling with knobs. No need to book.
The tampering itself is nice when the post-unpacking. The knobs are perfectly fine and the beast hides some interesting surprises. Obviously it takes more neurons than knobs and switches to get out but I got what I wanted: a pedal exploitable.

SOUND QUALITY

So it is effective badly. The overdrive is warm with a small roar dirty pleasure. The bass is there. The result is very doom-stoner, exactly what I was looking for the small hollow in the mids at noon. It's beautiful.
The fuzz is harder to adjust (well. .. there are 6 knobs) but it has a big advantage: its equalization. And the latter is surprising. I tend to push the tone of those I had swelled as the bass signal. Here it is the opposite, pushing the bass, the points won in relief. Pushing the treble, it flattens the signal. This is a real fuzz bass (the bass big muff is very pale beside). I can get the sounds Truckfighters with this effect. Do drop in and, AC CHIE the keg ASS!
After I do not recommend this pedal to fans of his clear and precise. I do stoner with a lot of fish, therefore I am in 7th heaven of hell rock'n roll.

OVERALL OPINION

I've had two weeks. What I like? Is this shit (yes, a friend of poetry).
I had the opportunity to create the effect I wanted, and the result is well worth it. I sound thick enough and powerful bass there just beyond the grave. The artwork with the kraken is really suitable with this beast from the depths.
What I like above all is to have a sound that is unlike anything that I've heard. I play with a Thunderwild of wild custom instrument which is also a completely atypical to the resonance and sound. And the funny thing is that the two get along very well. I also have a custom made cabinet. Quality and unique sound that is very far above the rest ... and financial operation is also very interesting.
Come on guys, think global, buy local your gear! You have more real enthusiasts as interlocutors as Fred Chillbass, Nico Mazzette, Reno and Ju Jerome Wild Customs and Arts in Bloodshed.
If I were stung this? I hired a hitman Belarus.
