Bass effects seem to be the trend for 2008 at Electro Harmonix, as Mike Matthews' stompbox-making company comes up with the Bass Blogger, a distortion box for four/five/six-stringers.
Apart from the classic Volume/Tone/Drive controls, the XO-Series Bass Blogger features a dry out and (most noticeably) a dual mode distortion which lets you choose either of the two ( “fuzz” or “overdrive” ) distortion modes available.
No release date or price was communicated as of yet.
