Published on 01/28/11 at 02:45The Case Bassket Fuzz is as its name indicates a fuzz pedal analog originally designed for bass, but I use mainly with my guitar. Both In and Out connectors and four knobs.
UTILIZATION
The use of the pedal is very easy! Four knobs: Volume, Gain, Buzz, Shape ... It is not difficult to understand the operation of the pedal with a few tests of manipulation of buttons ... The Shape interacts with the gain, and knob Buzz manages the compression of the whole. It is not difficult to quickly achieve the desired sound.
SOUND QUALITY
The effect is very distinctive, with its clear vintage. To have tested other fuzz (the "Devil Inside", the "cool cat fuzz Danelectro ...), the sound has nothing to do ... It really has a very particular grain, recalling the sound of fuzz you can hear some music surf music (the sound of fuzz Surfites example). That's exactly what I was looking for. The sound on a bass is obviously very good, but the main use as I do is put it on the guitar. I also tested on a Farfisa organ, then it got really violent like distortion ...
OVERALL OPINION
I use this pedal for a year and a half. Other models that I tried I had not as convinced. The quality-price ratio is largely favorable!
If I were to buy this pedal, I would not hesitate a moment!
