MXR announces the availability of their new Bass Distortion pedal that was introduced last January at NAMM.
The new MXR M85 Bass Distortion was designed in collaboration with Fuzzrocious Pedals founder and effect guru Ryan Ratajski. The team decided to modernize a classic distortion circuit to extend versatility and sound control. The pedal now features a switch for choosing between an aggressive and slightly compressed tone with silicone clipping diode or a more open and punchy sound with LED diodes.
The Bass Distortion also features separate Dry and Wet knobs as well as a Tone that affect the processed signal only and a last Distortion control to set the distorted signal intensity.
The MXR Bass Distortion is available in the USA with an MAP of $199. More info at www.jimdunlop.com.
