Carvin introduced the BX500 bass amp.
The BX500 weighs 5 pounds and produces 500 watts at 4 ohms, with a dynamic peak of up to 1000 watts.
It includes a 12AX7 preamp tube, footswitch-controlled 9-band graphic EQ, Class D DTEC™ output section, optical compressor with auto limiter and active/passive controls which is designed to make the BX500 suitable for use with any bass.
Add an optional BX500RP rackmount kit, and you can install the head in your existing rig, or in a rack such as Carvin’s RoadWarrior™ RW4. The BX500RP is easy to install – just 6 screws and the handles.
The BX500 also drives the new BR515N and BR510N Neodymium combo bass amps. The BR515N is loaded with a 15" Neo driver and Mylar tweeter, and the BR510N is loaded with a pair of 10" Neo drivers and Mylar tweeter.
