Carvin amp head from the early 90's
The power output is 150W, with transistors
2 inputs Hi and Lo for passive or active low
At the rear there are two speaker outputs 8 ohms, a Line out, a footswitch and an effects loop classic.
The amplifier has a gain knob, with a parametric mid EQ section, a compressor and an integrated noisegate and two switches Low (sub for bass) and High (to shine).

UTILIZATION

The configuration is relatively simple, the switches are especially useful for digging the sound and get good bass. The EQ is for paufiner sound, not really work because only mediums are parametric.

SOUNDS

It suited me for being quite round, it was not cold and the side of some modern Hartke or SWR ... be aware that it is relatively neutral.
I'm directly connected to it (a Peavey speaker behind * 15), with an Ibanez SR300, then with a Warwick FNA Jazzman ... and after passing first through a pedal effects (Boss GT6B).

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 4 years, I love its ease of use, the switches low / high particularly effective, and the big sound that comes out round.
Now I will look more modern qqchose.
