UTILIZATION

The configuration is simplistic, with a normal tube amp to the former: it is plug and play and you plug it sounds! But what the ...!

So no need for manual or an infinite time to adjust :)

SOUNDS

I play mostly indie rock, but also the soul, post rock, pop, funk ... it has so far agreed to all these styles.

Caution! This amp has a strong personality, it sounds vintage, and this is why I love it!
Noise level this amp has a BIG grain although the former (GMO what!), So for the motown soul / stax, the game with a pick, fingers, it is a treat. There is no slouch either slap!
So if you want a transparent amp, go your way!

I play with my accuracy and my jazz bass, and either with one or the other I have a really nice sound with a musical grain (if you like the sounds of Herbie Flowers, Karol Kaye James Jamerson, Bobby Vega ...).
To make a comparison, although it was a unique and well to her, I would put in the same family that ampeg, fender bassman ...

The volume can also adjust the volume to cruncher lamps and adjust the grain in the style we play. Pushing over three-quarters of the race, the distortion becomes evil!
I play with the pedals, and it behaves with wonder. Especially with my bass distortion Trex Juice (it's heavy! Sound is very organic for distortion, hotter than most of the other amps), my compressor EBS (in normal mode it is fatal), or RMI Basswitch my preamp.

OVERALL OPINION

I use this amp for three weeks intensively (concert, residence, rehearsals ...) and I am fully satisfied. The sound is vintage wish. It is warm, with a lot of grain, but at the same time dynamic and defined: it returns exactly my games and the sound of my bass with battery musical coloring thing. We can play with the sound quality, the most styles of music, and even modern!
I've played on a lot of amps, transistor: EBS, Markbass, Tc Electronics, Ashdown ... Tube: Orange, Ampeg SVT II, III SVT, SVT classic, and even RVs, I can tell you that in its category (full amp lamps grain) is the best I've ever tried! In addition it is the type of sound I'm looking for, so banco!
I was afraid at first that 42W are just too in terms of volume, but do not forget that it is lights, and I drill into the mix group without problem! It twists two misconceptions about the power amp. I see two advantages: you can push the lights and have a good sound / grain, and in any case at the moment, with sound systems and systems of planting is sufficient enough to play live.
I played on a speaker of the same brand in 2x12, and these two belong together! I think it is the icing on the cake, aesthetically beautiful and very well done!

In the end, the price / quality ratio is really good, because it is of excellent quality. Moreover handmade in France (Pau exactly). The builder / craftsman (I do not know how to say exactly a manufacturer amp) is really super passionate and knowledgeable, he sold his amp directly without intermediaries on its site, do not hesitate to make a turn :)

And by the way, yes, of course I would do without hesitation that choice!
