Here is a tube amplifier, 4 el 84 in puissance.deux 12 ax 7 and 12 at 7 are in the preamplifier. The power of this amp is close to 40 watts
the speaker output is 8 ohms and as there are two identical channels there are 4 entries insruments: either 2 and 2 low higtht
3 knobs and a switch by canal.on is an adjustable bass, one of Aiguier and volume.
leswitch manages a system that allows bright said to add a bit of brightness to the sound if it is activated.
we can say that the connection is rather poor on this amp and it is a shame!

    UTILIZATION

The config is very simple when you are not too many knobs to turn and gives the animal with a vast amount of his suit many style!!

I had no man, as his buddy bertrand me the strato exchanged against one and he even took him to another friend that it 's had not because I think the Beast
date of 70 years and is made in Italy

    SOUNDS

I play mostly rock that can be described as melodic hardcore metal then
I need a versatile amp but with a mind nervous and I can tell you that I am lucky to have this thing of the devil! I was helped by an LTD MH 400 NT and multieffects VOX TONELAB SE.
the type of sounds obtained Outbuildings positioning of the volume: in the first third of it was clear in the 2nd third of the crunch and the last third, he, the topo sature.voila my poto !!!!! Ahahahaha
the knobs and low Aiguier, and the bright, remplisent their roles effectively and allow to touch many styles.je must say that the sound of the amp is close to a marshall and that the micro scratches is also very important!!

    - Plain and with the EMG 81 is one has a precise and ideal for crystalline reacted and rockabilly and a jousting low we will have a tubular ades ideal for surfing the music.avec 85 was more heat but we keep the definition which allows for versatility and these my favorite couple in clear

    - In the crunch, the 81, it sounds ontient pechus ideal for rhythmic verses pop-rock type or rock 70.avec 85 is the key to blues and jazz of all types. Adjust any of dépandra egalistion on the amp and the guitar was fat but never have blurred or unclear notes!

    - Saturation and with the EMG 81 were many possibilities: it can be played rock, punk, hardrock, hard FM, hardcore and heavy metal typed 80s, the grunge, the heavy boy, the heavy ! 85 in the handle, I must say that the sound becomes even heavier months but have fishing 81.cela said that one can say that is perfect for a type Rhythmic Led Zeppelin, AC / DC, Guns No roses and other Sabath.

    veiled

imagined, now adding the VOX TONELAB SE

we have a pallet of his friends impresionante

you can add distortion effects of modulation (mainly flange, chorus and delays of Textreme ...), and reverb.le multieffect also has amp models and Famous all these additions help to further increase the possibilities of this amp: you can explore all facets of metal, hardcore, Indus, the grind ....

I do not hate her, for cons I do not use them all because I mainly playing with saturation saturation ... a lot: I play a lot with the 81, the VOX is set with a disto type first and then the RAT preamp type MESA / BOOGIE EVAN and amplifier with bass and treble at noon and the volume thoroughly mind-blowing balloons .... ca amigo

    OVERALL OPINION

Cross I have been around 6 months and I love everything about him, it's great!!
I had a peavey, fender and marshall's and I must say that I do not regret my old guitar for this amp suits me completely!
it is even powerful enough repetitions or small scenes!!
little more also lies in the fact that the brand is not known and that other musicos I crossed his astonished by the look and sound of this amp animal!
I just wish that the rating of this amp argus do not be higher because it seems to me more convincing than many competitors newer, more expensive, mine, I do not sell it for anything in the world! !!

    edit 02 / 12 / 2007

I change the lights and buy a Boss LS 2 to move from one channel to another. I placed dd el 84 power and an ECC83 dd and a 12 ax 7 tung soil in the preamp, December 1 at 7 Vienna straighten his tout.Le dramatically gain and gain definition and my friends tell me that that is only 84 el blues rock and not violent records should try this combination!
I wish all the same to say that it does not saturate as a mesa / boogie or marshall Recent, but in terms of precision and definition of sound Well my EVAN is not at all ridiculous to see some aspect (bass response, for example ...) more convincing!
These are the guys I'm really super satisfaint of this amp!
    a plush!!
    EDIT 22 / 01 / 2008

30-watt, all-tube bass and guitar amp (although the guy who sold it to me said it was 60 watts)
Two bass and two guitar inputs, one 8-Ohm speaker output
One ECC83 tube for each instrument, one ECC81 to drive the four EL84 power tubes
No gain control and no reverb. It's a pity!
Bass, treble (with pull function for boosting) and volume controls for each instrument.
My amp has been modified with an additional cooling fan above the power tubes.

    UTILIZATION

    The setting is ultra easy.

    The setting is ultra easy.

and you'll get a good sound out of every setting.
No need for a user's manual.

The one and only problem with this amp is the lack of scaling for the knobs which makes it difficult to write down your settings (I don't have the genuine knobs) and the bass and guitar inputs aren't labeled. (after a quick check, it seems the guitar is on the right and bass in the middle).

    SOUNDS

The sound is the main asset of this sort of amp. It provides a very rich, powerful and warm sound.
For guitar, use a multi-effect (I've got a Zoom 8080) to add the missing effects like distortion and reverb. You get a killing fat sound...
I tested it with a 160-watt, 15" bass cabinet... It blows your mind. The small port makes a good job with a bass guitar.
The original speaker cabinet has a very nice guitar sound but I don't crank the volume because I'm afraid I'll tear the 10" speaker membranes. The output power is enough to feed a 100-watt, 4x12" speaker cabinet.

This amp can keep up with the best amps of the 70's/80's.

    OVERALL OPINION

I just bought it, but I'm pretty sure I'll keep this baby for a long time, particularly since the previous owner tuned it really nice.

The thing I dislike most is that you don't have a gain knob nor a reverb.
I don't like the cabinet wood either because it seems too slim.
I love the sound, it's awesome!
I tested a dozen tube amps but this amp head with the original speaker cabinet was a super deal. This same amp new would cost about 4 times more.
I did it! I had a gain knob between preamp and power amp... I didn't get a big distortion sound but a nice crunch. However the sound is too dirty and leaking in the bass channel. I will try other tubes (I'll also add an effect loop...)

Update: I changed the tubes but the sound didn't change a lot. It seems the preamps of this amp are not conceived to be overdriven.
I tested the amp with an electro-acoustic folk guitar (Ibanez V70ce)... Wow, the small bass port really makes sense... The sound is outstanding! I tested the same guitar with another amp and I'm sure the bass port manages this particularly well...
