The Peavey MAX bass combo series has been updated and the three 110, 115 and 158 models received both aesthetic and function changes. You’ll find on this new 2013 edition the DDT speaker protection system, the TransTube tube saturation emulation circuit for the gain boost, as well as presets (Punch, Mid-Shift, Bright…).
The MAX 110 (10" woofer and 100W) and MAX 115 (15" woofer, 300W) feature a 3-band EQ, a gain boost, a chromatic tuner with mute, a mini-jack headphone output and a mini-jack auxiliary input. The MAX 115 combo also includes an XLR direct output with ground lift and a tweeter that will be bypassed when enabling the TransTube gain boost control.
The MAX 158 is a 20W study combo that hosts a 8" woofer and features a 3-band EQ, a volume control with TransTube boost, mini-jack headphone output and aux input and a chromatic tuner with mute.
