Pocesseur a low Warwick Fortress One 5 string 95, I was always happy with his sound, but the passing years he lacked that je ne sais quoi that makes the difference. As gold was subject to change low (I'm in love , I started a small investigation into the microphone (MEC original). After a few trials (Seymour, Benedetti, CREL) and a luthier AVRC consultation in Toulouse, I decided to mount JC5 DELANO ET (J BASS style) that seemed to have the sound I was looking for (modern, Marcus type, if I can compare).
It's been two months that I play it and the pickups are a real killing, my bass is converted (yet to have tried a lot of bass I can say it sounded pretty good before):
- A crazy attack, as in fingers in salp
- Demonic precision, so serious to the 22nd floor of the box
- A monstrous fish, as much as passive level active front, so imagine now active pfffffffffff ..........
To be honest, I expected to change the mail, but it really is not worth it, now I see that it is of good quality.
Finally, for € 190 I do not regret that investment and all those who hesitates I say go for it.
