I have these pickups month. Before I was on my Rockbass MEC active pickups, I wanted to try I was disappointed, they sounded great but we can not control everything, they added me low mids that I could not identify. So I changed the pickups for liabilities.
I was looking for serious and rather focus on slamming microphones, this is why I chose the Quarter Pound.
The value for money is really good, in fact I did not think Seymour Duncan was so good, very pleasant surprise. Sound and precise and clear.

I think my next fretted bass will have Seymour Duncan.

I strongly advise slapeurs, the sound is really slamming and dynamic.
