« Review Tornado MS pickups Jazzbass'60 »
Published on 02/04/14 at 03:01After much hesitation, research on the Net, reading diverse and varied opinions, I just raise my JB American Special set a "Tornado MS pickups Jazzbass'60" and I am delighted with the choice I made .
The sound of the instrument is not radically different, but the definition is better, more full than the original pickups wider sound,. Found better, thanks to this set, the "growl - growl" - characteristic of the JB pickup position, we had trouble getting the set mounted on the bass.
For me, the value is nickel, knowing that you invest in a set "hand made", developed with quality items. I said that I asked Marc to do the editing, not being a professional soldering iron, and in addition I have the opportunity to make her capas of origin (which frown replace this way ...).
I would also like to acknowledge the kindness, availability and competence of Marc!
I would do without hesitation that choice, and I can only encourage those looking for a set in vintage colors, making this investment.
