I use these strings on a peavey 5 string lefty previously ernie balls 135-50 rinsed and all I really saw, heard and felt the difference:
1_ touch: these strings are steel, so rather rough at first but if it is very fast! in addition the steel strings is it has a nice color "blue"
2_le sound: lovin 'waiting has dug mediums and treble ultra slamming as is the case for steel strings: Well no! the medium are well forward, low mids are very "growlys", not slamming the treble very sweet, very low round because it is the media who give these strings and banging on prmettent to be hear in a group without having to mess with EQ thoroughly.
game to pick is great, the game to give your fingers a sond very "vintage" ie very round but still a good dose of medium not to be forgotten in a group. on the other hand to everything and slap tapping I think they are forgotten!
