It is + / - a year that I made the splurge (+ / - € 1000 in Musicstore) ...
Here we are in the high-end ... Clean finish, varnish, high quality maple of choice (no knots), reinforcements on both sides of the drums ... Supplied with Remo skins with integrated mutes and a circle of reinforcement to pierce the skin of resonance ... Given the depth of the bass drum, you lose a little in attack and precision (but I'm not a fan of double pedals bearings at high speed) but it is gaining heat and safe ... I play without a cushion inside and it sounds the "death that kills" ... You give a helping kick, you got the bass player and guitarist who cries that returns in the skirts of his mother ... Need I say more ... Nirvana drummer (I think) ... These are very rare bass drums (in this series and this dimension), if an opportunity not be missed!
