Lightmaxx Platinum Multi Colour Spot PRO 9x9W TriLED

I use this material (16 spots) for 4 years: I never had the slightest problem.

Lighting is powerful: each spot lights as much as a 500 W halogen but the power consumption is much lower: 100 W maximum. The scattering angle is 40 °, which ranks among the spot wash effects. Lenses allow each LED to avoid pizza and effect lighting has satisfactory consistency (good for LED lighting but less than perfect lighting for PC, everyone finds).

Whether short, medium or long-range (> 20m), color rendering is very satisfactory, except perhaps on the side of yellow missing heat (fine tuning overcomes this drawback technology RGB). The wash effect advantageously used to illuminate large areas (scenes, architecture) and power is sufficient to allow indirect lighting (ceilings, arches or walls). Double lyre allows ground installation for lighting against Angle. Mounting on structures is no problem, and clamping is always effectively. Only components whose spots are equipped are useless: do not expect to make a cutting effect with a spot wash! Remove as much, which is done with a simple screwdriver.

In time, the material proves reliable. LED technology is obviously there for many, but the quality of the boxes too. This is, of course, the price of the weight of each spot (5.6 kg), but what advantage of having a robust hardware! Especially when it is necessary to provide transportation. What also advantage of not having to provide replacement lamp or having to monitor the total consumption of lighting not trip circuit breakers, especially when doing mobile disco!

Note, each spot is equipped with a fan, relatively unobtrusive. If this poses no problem for use in clubs or concert, the noise can be a hindrance for a small theater where absolute silence must reign.

In summary, the benefits are many:
- Low power consumption and high luminous efficiency,
- Mixture composition and very soft colors (RGB),
- Flexibility and response time insignificant in DMX mode.
- Robust hardware and lifetime of LEDs

The few drawbacks are easily circumvented:
- If the color rendering is not as uniform as with PCs, multiplication spots (at least eight) solves the problem,
- If the RGB technology requires some dexterity to get warm and powerful yellow, some tests are sufficient to identify how to set yellow at best,
- If the flaps are unnecessary, it is always possible to remove them.

The price / quality ratio is excellent spots.
With experience, I would do this type of purchase without hesitation LED technology, long decried finally a bright future ahead of her as she gets better and affordable.
