They introduced it at NAMM 2015, you can now download the new dbx 160 compressor emulation by Waves.
Waves collaborated with the manufacturer of the original 160 compressor/limiter to faithfully model the original circuit and functionality as a Native and SoundGrid plug-in for Mac OS X and Windows.
The Waves dbx 160 plug-in also includes a Mid/Side processing matrix, mix and noise controls as well as stereo operation, features that were not available on the original device.
The plug-in is currently available for the introductory price of $99 instead of $150 and you can download a trial version from www.waves.com.
