Zildjian K Custom Crash-16"
Published on 06/10/02 at 15:00Purchased new at reatil. The cymbal goes for $165-185 discount.
Perfect balance of dark warmth and bright shimmer. I also play A Customs, but these are really worth it. Go for the K custom, a real nice surprise!
They are perfection for all sorts of music, no gripes.
Thin weight, hammered, brilliant finish
Best cymbal i've played to date.

Perfect
Published on 04/02/12 at 06:45 (This content has been automatically translated from French)I use this cymbal for two years now.
I used an earlier UFIP ClassSeries 16.
What I like about this model is its fast response, clarity of sound, and also the fact that the resonance stops faster, which allows not to pollute the rest. The impact is perfect, no extraneous sounds.
on the other hand, as always, the price is still too high in my opinion.
I hope life is related.
Obviously, this choice I would do, provided you have saved.10 - AudioNeoPublished on 11/07/04 at 14:03 (This content has been automatically translated from French)I possde two of those pretty cakes bronze, one in 15 "for 3 years and one 17" for 1 year.
I chose 15 "because I have not had for CHRE, and 17" because it sounded much better than the 16 "I tried at the same time (never buy this kind of cymbals custom!)
The crash is both sharp and sweet: the cymbal rpond strong but without being harsh. However, they are a little more aggressive than the standard K, sharper, too.
The crashes seem less critical choice as wrinkles, but they are always the same when Chres that sound! (And again, there amme of Chres that do not ring!)
The crash I most cheeks are Zildjian, and Avedis, A Custom, K or K custom, they have always loved it.

A little Chres even when the K-Custom, but I think they have no equivalent in the competition.
I had a big hsitation with K standard, and I still have not decided (in fact, no case of 15 "I bought plutt K). But I 'm pretty optimistic about their aging, and I think they REALLY s'amlioreront APRS cheeks t have 4 or 5 years.
Overall rating: 8 / 10 (because, for now, I prfre the K!)See less10 - esprit frappeurPublished on 05/04/07 at 00:46 (This content has been automatically translated from French)I use it for 2 weeks and I am very satisfied. Again, with K it takes a bit of time to master the full range of sounds of cymbals.
As this cymbal is very thin, it is very reactive and has an amazing projection. It has a very dull tone and as the name implies very very dark, can be a bit more than traditional K. I played for a long time on Sabian HH Thin and K Custom harmonics has a longer warm but less "brilliant".
At value for money, it's true that this kind of cymbal is expensive and performance is in terms of price but I find them too expensive compared to what are Istanbul and Bosphorus cymbals with their equal in quality.10
