I have this workstation since January 2003.
Particularity of great interest to the digital audio high rate of calculations:
Dual Intel Xeon 2 GHz mini
Systm Ultra320 SCSI hard drive (320 Mb of DBiT max) RAID 5 (fault tolrance DBiT an optimal reading and WRITING amlior.
512 MB RAM minimum (I have 1 GB)
Dell products This category is still a bit expensive but very effective.
With exprience in fact, I would suggest that choice to others.
And I leave the best for last: the ventilators are silent!
