Equivalent of Monacor IMG Stage Line DIB-100 (older?)
Passive DI transformer steel case virtually indestructible.
1 input jack 6.35 asymmetrical: IN with direct exit LINK.
1 XLR 600 Ω, balanced
Attenuator 0 / -20 / -40 dB
Ground Lift!

Given bandwidth for 15-30 000Hz
Input Impedance: 50 kOhms
Tranformation ratio: 10: 1
Dimensions: 74 × 45 × 130 mm
Weight: 650 g

UTILIZATION

The diagram is reproduced on the DI, and even without this DI is standard and use quite intuitive.
Quadrilingual manual (F / E / D / I) could not be more simple.

SOUND QUALITY

It is a passive DI transformer, so it is expected to:
- A low input impedance (50k ohms)
- Mitigation of serious
- A sharp deterioration of signals from high impedance sources (piezzos)
When the source is at low or medium impedance (<30kohms), the DI mat is impeccable and fulfill its role of balancing the signal and lowering the impedance to drive long cable runs. For its price, this is remarkable!
However, the high impedance sources, signal deterioration by the DI is straightforward, for example on a guitar or string instrument preamp with piezo sensor without the result is often deplorable. This is the limit of passive DI, and then an active DI will make all the difference!

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for over 15 years (now under Stage Line brand always distributed by Monacor): unbeatable price, good quality and strength.
Only limitation that all passive DI: she does not like very high impedance sources! In this case, leave your active DI.
