Loop Editor 2 can easily replace the Apple Loops utility included in the Mac OS X software list. It allows you to work with any audio format that supports loop points, such as AIFF, CAF, AAC, Apple Loossless, WAV, W64 or Acid). It also includes a REX and RX2 file converter for Reason and ReCycle users as well as a First Aid Kit that can repair damaged audio files.
As for the functionality, Loop Editor 2 allows you to see, add, edit and export slices and in this new version, Audiofile Engineering included the AppleScript support, which allows for automating the workflow and make the process easier when working with a large number of files.
Loop Editor has a special introductory price of $29.99 / 26.99€ instead of $49.99 for a limited time. It is available now at the Mac App Store.
