Tascam has released a new high resolution DSD and WAV editor software for Windows that you can download for free.
The free Tascam Hi-Res Editor gives you the ability to playback, edit and export mono and stereo audio files in DSD up to 11 MHz and WAV up to 384 kHz without having to previously convert them to PCM. It can also convert DSD to PCM and vice versa, recode PCM files at different sample rates and bit depths and you can even link two audio files thanks to the Combine feature.
The Tascam Hi-Res Editor is intended for those who use recorders such as the DA-3000, the TEAC UD-501 and HA-P90SD players and even pocket recorders such as the DR-44WL among others.
The editor is currently available for Windows, a Mac version is planned. You can download it for free from tascam.com.
