Terratec has a small black case a simple bi-directional converter of type optical SPDIF to the SPDIF RCA type.
3 modes are available via a small switch:
- As convertiesseur optical -> RCA and RCA -> Optical
- As rpeteur RCA + optical
- As rpeteur Optical + RCA
Power is supplied either by an external box not included, either by a USB cable that is provided that it (no data between the computer and the box).
It works well impcablement up 24bit/192kHz.
on the other hand, it does not control DBiT, it simply forward the signal. (So if the source and destination are asynchronous, it is not there problem).
OVERALL OPINION
For a few days that I use and I had no pb. I plugged it worked what more?
Its price is suitable, as 50 had the lowest found Madame if ca is expensive for what it is.
