« Cool, but not too »
Published on 05/11/13 at 10:42What characteristics have motivated your choice?
The fact of mixing and scratching sounds on his computer!
For what purpose?
Especially staff, I had four months of experience before moving on Timecoded
What is your config (Motherboard / CPU / Ram / Hard, ...)?
My config was lame but it is above:
1.5 GHz CPU, 1G ram, 250gb hard drive on a Windows XP family with laptop ACER or the battery was dead, the wi-fi card and keyboard grilled half fucked (an old pc). Aside from the PC when heated too much, the Freeze software (after 3h a background) its market well. I've never used it in the evening (or it's warmer)
Which instruments and systems (console, preamp, DTD ...) you use it and how connections?
2 turntables Gemini XL 500 II and a Numark M2 table. If not for the audio it was just a chain Hi-Fi was in a private setting that I used the DVS. For connectivity, the platinum RCA to RCA sound card and sound card to the mixing desk.
GETTING STARTED
The installation is done it without problems?
Frankly I douillé for installation, yet the guy that I bought has help me once handled by against it goes fast.
Have you experienced any incompatibilities?
I have a PAD Korg mini MIDI without drivers its not market (after it had windows XP)
The general configuration is easy?
It's easy, but lousy compared to Serato, and the mapping is ultra mega heavy compared to Serato.
The manual is clear and sufficient? ...

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE
What is the configuration of your computer? (Motherboard / CPU / Ram / Disk / sound card ..)
Already answered above
The software works he correctly on this configuration?
Already answered above
What performance? (If quantifiable) This software + hardware is stable?
Already answered above, the configuration that I was blah, there was better.
OVERALL OPINION
How long have you use it?
I used 1 year and a half
What is the particular feature you like best and least?
The price, cheap to DVS, but also the fact that the sound card can be used on other software (Virtual Dj Pro I will talk about later).
Have you tried many other models before buying it?
No
How would you rate the quality / price?
Frankly for the 100th, the sound card vinyls cds and cables, it will.
With experience, you do again this choice?
Serato is not damn well better.
Otherwise, I personally dislike the Mixvibes interface, although you can change it, I found by ergonomic at all. After 3 months of use mixvibes, jsuis spent on virtual DJ pro in software, and it was damn well better, as even on the interface, as the mapping on the playlist ...
So, I limit counsel is chopper sound card and use virtual DJ pro as software because the sound card is niquel! If the vinyl is good, but are better Serato (Serato Vinyls going on Mixvibes as on Virtual Dj)
