I have since I was a kid, he was my father. I love this headphone, great musicianship!
A little hard to feed on certain sources faiblardes but when he gives the music life really!

I recently rewire with the best cables and silver solder, I also changed the pads of velvet pads (the K701 if I remember correctly), and I cut the grids which blocked some sound!

after all this is even better, bass become deeper, the stereo image is better drawn and held on the head is more enjoyable. (Because this headphone is heavy and original pads are shallow ears suddenly touches the plastic grids, in the long run it's embarrassing!)

In short, this is my reference headphones, which I keep as much as possible.
(For recommended against for mixing, not "objective")

This headphone is ream for about 20 years! And yes my father had bought in 2000 francs at the time, which was enormous. I had the chance to recover.
It works with an electrostatic-dynamic system ....

Edit of 05/11/2007: With more experience, this headset is not at all suited to the Studio, it is a Stereo Headset for long without listening fatgue. The sound seems airy, softly!
Compared to K141 from the same brand, it lacks power at low volume. The K141 although increases too low, it is more accurate and specific as to listen but also much more tiring, is perfect to detect noise or phase problems in a mix ...
