« no way »

Most all of the Skullcandy headphones are jus for looks, and the SC-GI is no exception. It is a very stylish looking headphone with out a doubt and they will look cool when you where them but the sound quality of them are awful! Unless you have never heard music in a par of good headphones which most normal people (not musicians) have, then you probably wont know the difference. I am not sure but it don’t think SkullCandy is trying to market their headphones to musicians they want to have more of the teenage crowd that cares more about fashion. These are suppose to be DJ headphones but at the end of they day the way they sound you wont want to use them for more than 5 minutes. Stay away from SkullCandy headphones unless you are just wanting to look nice. DJ’s and Engineers will never overlook the importance of a good pair of studio headphones and these are no where near good enough to even be considered DJ headphones.

I don’t recommend them at all. The low end sounds are over powering and way to bassy and muddy. There is no way you can used them to mix your music or to DJ with because of the bass isn’t crisp enough. The mid’s are almost just absent sometimes depending on what type of music you are listening to in them and the hi’s also arent that clean and crisp. I would buy these again and probably would use them if someone gave me a pair. But then again they do look cool so I guess that’s why people keep buying them. They just seem like the kind of headphones you get at a track stop when your on a road trip and you forgot your real headphones!Do not buy them!
