    PLEASE READ COMPLETELY !!!!!!!

    Z is a model and not V! !!!!!!!!!

I purchased a V and have compared the technical and aesthetic is the same!!
except the color of the case is black leatherette

A lot of noise on this model but there is not as counterfeiting because it is important to remember that 95% of manufactured products derived from Asia (China, Malaysia, Japan ....)
I SIAS on ebay can be found at very low prices
    I bought different models
the cheapest being a Z but also eco version> I explain there is the equivalent to V Z
and there is the eco version free Sony Z marked on the bow but still plays on
the price difference is explained by the aesthetic finish (no logo on the headband, jack connections per click and not screw and tapping the pad is less dense but in terms of listening I can not find it difference is alarming

Infringement! Jai Fully disassemble this headphone! the finish is terrible! The speakers are not registered! I prcise that Sony has a habit of not Sony brand everywhere and NOTHING! The quality of sound is bad trs.

The only positive is the look of the Sony MDR V700 DJ.

    I will STRONGLY deprecated!

Personally I bought the Z700 MDR some time ago, the sound is the same as the V700 (that is excellent!) And there are many registration jack on the Sony and the headband. So is Sony made an update of his headphone by adding badges or there are many counterfeit headphones.

How long have you use it?

About a year and is well despite the rumors.

    - What is so special that you like most and least?

    Most:
    Excellent sound-
    -Comfortable enough
    -Excellent design

    The -:
-A little too heavy, shakes his head a little too
    Graves, a little too forward.

    - Have you tried many other models before buying it?

The MDR V700 has the same sound.

    Excellent

    - With experience, you do again this choice?

I do not know. I would have more points of comparison to see if there are better or not.

I bought this headphone a seller of good faith on Audiofanzine, and unfortunately this headphone is far from being the height of the MDR-V700 headphones vritable, not least at the level of esthtisme and manipulabilit: fitting non-compliant (no screwing possible), non-rigid cable similar to the original headphones, Sony no indication of the arch, cushions for headphones of inferior quality .. .

BEWARE when you purchase this type of headphone!
Clearly too often fakes, especially since the link to the Sony site seems misleading buyers who believe buying a quality headphone (personally, even when I have big doubts on that link, not unfortunately not read Japanese).

What I like most about these headphones is the way they fold up.  They are ideal for DJing or just running samples because you can do the "put them on your shoulder" thing quite easily.  What I mean by that in case you don't know is the ear pieces can rotate 180 degrees so you can "stack" them and stick them on your shoulder  (kinda like you can do with a cell phone) and work hands free, although you neck will hurt if you stay in that position too long.  The other thing i should mention is that the sound quality and bass response is pretty darn good.  They are not the best cans I own (I have a pair of AKG MKII's that are out of this world) but they are the best pair I use for live settings.…

Yes, I DJ occasionally but its not my passion at all.  I am a Multi instrumentalist who plays a variety of styles of music and I use these headphones often, especially when I bring my laptop and run ableton 8.  Yes, I would buy these again if I didn't own them already.
