I just make the acquisition (€ 159 from Pixmania). The DP800 or pro king arrives in a box where everything is well packaged, no carrying case or manual. That said assembly of components is very fast and intuitive. First impression: c of the solid. The installation is very simple and the possibilities of setting simply enormous. There is a drum key and hex wrench under each foot (ie 2 of each) with a clever storage system. Once the animal is mounted the installer and the system hangs at the GC is really great, you set the height with a screw and is tightened with a lever, the cycle of GC is securely fastened between two parties rubber, which does not the abyss. We find the same system on the left pedal + system screwed to the floor.
The stabilizer plates have a good grip which means that nothing moves while playing (even without setting the second pedal !!!).
Comes the long awaited moment of the game and there ... The DP800 is very fast, powerful and very cozy, comfortable. As I read in a magazine it seems to have nothing under your feet which is a little confusing at first (before I had a simple string) of my pedal stroke seems to hit hard hat play now.
The finish is impeccable, it is beautiful and very strong.
So if you do not have the budget for an Iron Cobra feel free and give you this little marvel for the price of a single pedal GC.
