OVERALL OPINION

It is a pleasure for me to see the photo of my guitar posted by another ...

I bought this guitar model there 30 years ago (paid 700 ~ F at the time).
I was scammed by the seller because it was a double failure:
1 / neck slightly arched
2 / 2nd fret a little beyond the others and frieze when playing low notes of the first box.

He seemed eager to sell me ...

To overcome this I had been content at the time of the bridge up to 5 mm good.

I dragged the default for all my "young" years but have really enjoyed using this guitar.

In 2007, wanting to get back to the guitar, I invested in an electric one hand and the beginning of November I took great resolutions: try to act on the defects of my folk.
1 / I untwisted the handle
2 / the bridge fell 5 mm
3 / a stroke of the file on the second cargo performed by a luthier

And oh surprise ... the result is not bad.
The frieze in the first box dispaurue!

I note that 30 years later, the model still sounds with new ropes course ...
No rust anywhere, the fund has absolutely not affected (unlike the cover of time which has now ended in the trash).

Price / quality ratio of the guitar: 7 / 10 (close to the frieze, the rest is very good)

With experience, I will not repeat this choice because of the defect but not because the model that I find enjoyable.

This is for my personal culture, and I réinteressant more to this beautiful instrument, the guitar, I'll return to my favorite store and test some models "modern" to better appreciate the qualities of mine.

Now that I have invested in an Ovation CDX 44 ... I keep this one for open tuning.
But nothing in between the two guitars side playing comfort ..
One thing is re ^ s, the Cimar is indestructible, I feel that the applause will be much more fragile, but so much better ...
