Chocolate Audio has released Contemporary Vintage Drums for BFD and Kontakt, currently available at special introductory price.
Contemporary Vintage Drums features 3 full drum kits sampled from:
- a Ludwig “Beatles” tribute kit (stick)
- a Ludwig “Beatles” tribute kit (brush)
- a 1977 Gretsch Concert Rock kit (stick)
The kits come with 3 sets of cymbals sampled from a Zildjian A series set (stick and brush) and UFIP set (stick) with 2 additional Ride Cymbals (Turkish and UFIP) and 7 snares overall (Ludwig, Gretsch, Pearl and Tama).
A total 60 drum pieces are available with 52600 samples and up to 245 samples per articulation and 11 round robin (Kontakt), including several mic options. BFD version takes 9 to 27 GB (depending on whether it is installed compressed or not), Kontakt version takes 12GB.
While list price is officially $129, Contemporary Vintage Drums is available for $90 until November 30th. More details at www.chocolateaudio.com.
