IK Multimedia completes the SampleTank 3 sound collection with two drum and one guitar expansion packs.
SampleTank 3 users can now add to their sound arsenal the following sample libraries:
- Neil Peart Drums: a selection of 17 SampleTank 3 instruments organized in songs with grooves, fills and accents, played at different tempos that can be modified without affecting the pitch via the SampleTank Stretch engine. This collection was recorded by Nick Rasculinecz (Rush) and Dave Kerzner (Sonic Reality founder) and features more than 2,000 samples and 800 drum grooves played by Rush drummer Neil Part with multiple round robins.
- Billy Cobham Drums: over 2,000 samples and 400 drum grooves with multiple round robins played by Billy Cobham himself, and recorded by Ken Scott and Dave Kerzner. You get a full kit as well as separate drum bass, snare, toms, hi-hats, ride and crash cymbals to customize your kit, as well as 14 SampleTank instruments organized in songs with adjustable tempo.
- American Acoustic Guitar: over 90 instruments and 130 MIDI patterns that cover different acoustic playing techniques (strumming, flat- and fingerpicking), with slide and harmonics effects.
Each of these three new packs are available for 79.99 €/$ each and you can listen to demos at www.ikmultimedia.com. Note that for a limited time, SampleTank 3 and SampleTank 3 SE registered users get 25 Gear Credits for use in the Custom Shop.
