Spaun Drums Edgevent Kits

According to Spaun, the Edgevent series drums feature a unique “shell within a shell” design, with the outer shell holding all the parts (lugs, spurs, strainer, butt, etc) and featuring outside holes for venting. Made of one continuous piece of wood, the inner shell has no holes and no parts attached, so that it can resonate independently from the outer shell. According to Spaun, this original construction results in a unique voice that provides a fat, warm sound with great attack and sustain.

As with all Spaun drums, Edgevent kits are custom built with a large array of choices regarding size, finish, and options, with retail price varying depending on sizes, finish, and options.
