I use it for 2 years now, on stage and in studio. I had an old Pearl All Maple Shell I loved but was getting old. In addition, I wanted to change the configuration (22,12,13,16) in (20,10,12,14)
I tried several models on stage (backline) Pearl MMX, Yamaha Recording Custom and other Tamburo Opera but it's that attracted me the most. The sound is powerful and well defined with a big box of 20. Toms are also powerful. The flat I met (it is also a quality) is the versatility of tuning drums. There are plenty of different choices to make and it sounds great. I was told to pay attention to the quality of the hardware (shell, feet kick ...) but I disassembled and re up at least 2 times a week and it's tough.
The price / quality ratio is excellent and I would not hesitate to repeat that choice ...
