I have a friend who owns the 225 (2 * 225W/8ohm) and not the 450 ...
I always wonder if TSB did pa mistaken reference to the electronics box through the largest range in the case of the smaller (there is also an error in the brand, it is caligrafié boost because at a time, working with TSB brand cettte m *** e for boxes, cards ... everything except wiring diagram ... (well, I think)).
If I ask this is because I am amazed every time I plug in my speakers ... it leaves an enormous power (FYI, my speakers are Wharfedale EVP-X 15 and I drive With an RMX1450 at QSC, I borrowed the XS 225 when I wanted more of his (XS & EVPX15 the old low-end speakers on my first amp which was a TSB Liker330 2 * 120 was limited in the evening of 70/80 people. only on EVPX15) before buying the QSC ...
Finally, my friend use it only at home (mix it for fun but not evenings) for 3 years, I took in the evening as 4 or 5 times so I can not say when the long-term reliability, but I had when I took him to limit the volume pots to 6 / 7 (in a room of 100 seats), failing to make the deaf guests (not a bad sound quality but with a level Sound too high), so I never had the opportunity to see this amp clipped, ears and my pregnant clients saturated before).
The sound quality is very good (still less than the QSC, but better than other amps low cost) ... Only drawback ... heavy weight and size and enormous.
