I have also a EP2500 and a elyon 220 and the big diffrence is the weight (live). This is an amp two speed fan, so discrete (home studio, rehearsal room).

The protection is excellent electrical (servo drive), there is a delay ignition.

For direct comparison with the Elyon because I put an amp per speaker (eminence Beyma + twt), volume gal, the crown of a high medium and less aggressive at the potato is worth ca 2500 with the EP .
