Hello
I use the 802 recently.
I bought new for powering JBL JRX 125 (as is often heard with a 602).
I must say also, that if one knows how to use an amp, the 802, more powerful, because the speakers work better.
I could compare it with my other CROWN (the CE2000). It is clear that it is a tone lower, especially in the attacks that seem as powerful but less "punchy".
it does not heat up, even heavily used.
it is not particularly beautiful, but its finish is good.
I think it fulfills the mission that I gave him ... and as the JRX are a bit tight in the bass, I think him a little brother to whom I gave him a pair of sub to fill his evenings DANCE and HOUSE ...
PS: This system, if you're perceptive, you guessed it, is a "complement". My basic system is also JBL and CROWN, but most serial "noble".
short, if they are "son of good family", the 802 and his brothers are rather honor their parents (and their proprios!)
musically, Denis
