I use the D4002 since 2005.
I like the compactness of the product. Its power / weight ratio. The active filter and the integrated noise gate.
I like less depth (50cm excluding connectors) and the difficulty of access to different filters and protections (removing the front panel). It is a useful concept but is not to change the setting to each property. Why prefer a crossover external memories.
Before this amp, I tried the analog amplifiers, heavy and hot. The D4002 is lightweight and stays warm. It is true that compared to amplifiers DYNACORD (or EV is the same) it is less rounded. However, to offset what has been said in another post lacks attack on two channels using a subwoofer of course, but it is impeccable in bridged mode. For my part, I used a 46cm behind DYNACORD F8. Bridged power (1000W into 8 ohms, 2000W into 4 Ohms) adjusts well its shortcomings. The bass is round and very well kept. I have had praise for the quality of my sound.

With the experience I would resume a four-channel model, yet more practical. Nevertheless, it is a good amp.
