Power amplifier output in 1988 with a capacity of 2x260 watts into 8 ohms, 2x400 watts into 4 Ohms and 800 Watts in bridge mode. Not operating under 2 ohms.
This amp is fairly heavy 26 kgs.
The working class AB amplifier, the performances are excellent, plus it is perfectly protected from any external aggression which an amplifier may be submitted (hard to take in default).
Apart from the performance figures that are excellent as I said, "look" of this amp on different speakers is really impressive, it really has the feeling of power delivered well above what announces YAMAHA .. For playback quality, we feel that Yamaha has particularly worked on this amp to give real sonic qualities. Well here we are in the subjective but it seems to me that the rendering approaches models Hi-Fi and high ranges is quite surprising to be honest .. In short, a real success .. I sold mine a few years ago and I sincerely regret ..
