Chapman is currently working on the prototype of its very first electric bass guitar, the MLB-1.
The MLB-1 prototype was unveiled via a video that we are reproducing below. The MLB-1 is a 4-string fretted bass guitar, with a bubinga body with carved back, maple with wenge spline neck-through-body design, wenge fingerboard and passive electronics with two humbucking pickups and split-coil push-pull controls.
The bass is made in Korea.
There is no information about the release and price of this new instrument. Below is the first teaser and a second, more complete, video in which you can hear the MLB-1.
